As Manager Logistics, you are responsible for the company’s logistic activities, from intra-transport to warehousing, to distribution to our customers all over the world. You lead your own team of specialists and make sure that from a control tower perspective our 3PL partners deliver on time, in full. You are based in our operations center in Kruiningen (NED), but we offer flexibility in location and hours. You report to the Supply Chain Operations Leader. This is a fulltime position in Haygrade 17.

What will you do?

  • Lead and develop your team of specialists (ca 8FTE) in warehousing and distribution activities;
  • Responsible for (outsourced) logistics network in Europe of 4-5 DC’s, intra-transport, road and deep-sea distribution;
  • Own and manage the financial budget to run these operations (€100-130mln range);
  • Ensure service performance (OTIF, complaints) is in line with standard, and initiate corrective measures when needed;
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement, where deviations in performance addressed on time, in full;
  • Monitor and adapt availability of logistic capacities in line anticipated demand and inventory projections;
  • Identify and implement structural improvements in our service and cost proposition in close cooperation with our commercial teams, 3PL partners and supporting departments;
  • Take a leading role in company-wide projects that require changes in the supply / logistics network;
  • Represents the Logistics team in the organization, connects closely to supply chain and commercial organisation.


  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in e.g. Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in warehousing and transport (preferably FMCG/ Food);
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in team management;
  • Experience with supplier management, preferably with logistics service providers;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to navigate effectively in a matrix organisation;
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch;
  • Experience with or a thorough understanding of SAP is beneficial.
