For Aviko we are looking for a multidisciplinary, team-oriented, international acting Commercial Manager with a passion for food.


In the role of Commercial Manager DACH at Aviko, you will have a crucial role in guiding their commercial strategy for frozen and chilled processed products. This main position entrusts you with the responsibility of P&L management, a task that involves nurturing the AVIKO brand’s growth among existing customers and develop new business. Your leadership will be important in guiding a team of general sales managers, with the collective aim of amplifying Aviko’s presence in the foodservice sector and elevating its market stature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In charge of overseeing the P&L for the AVIKO Brand product portfolio, you will ensure both profitability and growth.
  • You will craft and implement strategic commercial plans for each country, focusing primarily on core foodservice channels.
  • Your role involves driving business expansion and fostering essential relationships with corporate accounts in strategic foodservice markets.
  • Leading an international, multidisciplinary project agenda, you will collaborate closely with strategy and development teams.
  • Assessing and managing new business plans and country team leads will be a critical part of your responsibilities, aligning them with the set budgetary goals.
  • You will monitor and enhance business performance, emphasizing order-to-cash and demand planning efficiency.
  • Reporting to the Food Service Director Sales at the Dutch HQ, you will play a key role in fortifying the board-level sales management team.
  • Leading and managing a team of professional sales managers, you will focus on team development and performance.
  • You will work on strengthening the sales team at the board level, especially focusing on expanding and leading teams in Germany, which includes frequent travel within the EU.
  • Engaging in digital initiatives, you will guide teams through digitalization and organizational transformation.
  • Representing the sales department, you will participate in cross-functional platform meetings and discussions.


With 10-15 years of successful experience in international FMCG companies and a strong presence in the EU foodservice market, you stand out as a connective, motivational and inspiring sales-oriented manager. With a solid background and a well-established network in the EU FMCG foodservice market, your career demonstrates not only relevant experience but also a keen understanding of cultural nuances essential for navigating the do’s and don’ts in diverse food cultures. 

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability as an inquisitive, natural leader who supports and develops Commercial Teams, merging various talents through the effective execution of strategic plans for each foodservice division.
  • Proficiency as an analytical foodservice professional, skillfully linking realistic strategic plans with local sales division lead managers, and actively aiding in the execution of their programs and plans.
  • A broad interest in relevant commercial areas, including online and channel marketing, sales service and support (CRM), and innovation, as integral parts of your commercial expertise.
  • Preferably holding a bachelor’s degree in international business or marketing, coupled with relevant market experience and a track record of inspiring and building teams.
  • Analytical leadership abilities with a strategic understanding of geographic business nuances, fostering a positive work environment and strong team connections.
  • A strong orientation towards results, focusing on what’s best for AVIKO BV and its business partners.
  • Fluent in English and German, both in speaking and writing, an additional language is a pré.
  • Experience with ERP & CRM systems and a commitment to embracing the digitalization of commercial processes.
  • An active network within the AVIKO foodservice business in the EU is a pre.

This role is open to international candidates and involves bi-weekly travel to the Netherlands.
